Currently I am going through the various products (some launched..and some still to launched) which I can combine together to create a High Definition Home-Theater for me.
Note: This will be a very basic but good for an individual Home Theater. I am not looking for the THX certified products or packages; but it will be the system with no frills but moderate delivery which I can enjoy without worrying about the confusing and time consuming setups.
The requirement are:
- It's setup should be fairly simple
- It should not make a huge impact on the pocket
- It should not be a true Audiophile product; but won't be so bad for normal ears
- Graphic quality should be atleast (1280 X 720) pixels
- Sound should be atleast 5.1 channel
This Home-Theater will have the following components:
1. Projector (LED one so as to last longer and no need to replace the lamps)
2. Media Player
3. Speakers - 5.1 Channels
4. Audio Receiver
PROJECTOR
This Part will be the visual treat of our system. I am thinking of LED projector with atleast 1280X720 resolution.
The product which I am considering is Vivitek Qumi, it is still to be launched but fits well on our requirements.

- Up to 300 lumens of brightness
- Estimated 30,000 hours of operation

MEDIA PLAYER
This will be the heart of our Home Theater; So it should be capable of playing High Definition movies without any glitches and should be able to play maximum formats as well.
Any extra features are always wlecome, but not at very high cost.
The product in consideration is Xtreamer Prodigy, yet again it is still to be launched.
